Shangguan Elementary
Our lessons in Shangguan aimed at not only teaching kids basic musical abilities while fostering an appreciation for music, but also giving them a chance to learn English vocabulary. We began our lessons with a group performance of "Lava" by our own members, and ended with teaching the kids how to play a few songs such as "Row, row, row your boat." Though we wish that our lessons could have lasted longer, we are glad that we were able to develop these kids' interest in music and bring smiles to their faces.
